Art, and stained glass in particular, is Elena Wright's first love and third profession. Between the courses needed to finish a BA in Liberal Arts, a MS in Information Systems, and certification in Advanced Program Management from the Defense Systems Management College, Elena completed multiple art classes. Her art classes include design, drawing, watercolor, oils, pottery, stained glass construction, concentration in lead construction, lamp-making, and advanced stained glass design. After working with papier mache' for four years, Elena took a beginner's stained glass course and got hooked on light. She believes stained glass incorporates light better than any other art medium.

Originally from Lowell, MA, Elena now lives in Woodbridge, VA, with her husband, Len. They have three marvelous children; two reside in Austin, TX, and one in Fredericksburg, VA.
